AUTUMN DAYDREAMS, #HAIKU

Frank’s Haikai challenge asks us to write the haikai poem of our choice (haiku, senryu, haibun, tanka, haiga, renga, etc.) that states or alludes to either Fall foliage or goose (kari)–or both, if you feel so inclined!

As always: Here’s how the challenge works:

1. write the haikai poem of your choice.
2. post the link of your post to Mister Linky.
3. pingback by posting the link to the challenge on your site.
4. read and comment on other contributors’ posts.

The unrelenting heat continues here in Buckeye, Arizona. We’re hovering right around 100 F. this afternoon. If I close my eyes and ignore the dull drone of the air conditioning, I can picture the gold and orange leaves of a Montana autumn. I’m homesick for the cooler temperatures and the feel of Autumn… a girl can dream.

  1. Not sure if switching things up messed things up but I can’t find the Tanka Tuesday prompt – it comes up as “Oops can’t be found”.

    Stay cool!

          1. um… maybe. I go to your blog and try all the pages and can’t find the prompt post for the newest Tanka Tuesday. I’d like to add your site to my a page on my blog for prompts but I can’t find where you are putting the prompts…

I go to the Word Craft Page and all it has is the rules. …

              1. Just thinking that if you go to one place looking for the other… and visa versa… It would be good to not have to hunt down the prompts. But at least I think I know where and how to do that now.

Another page on each blog saying – Yep this is where and how you can find this and that… ??
