This week for #TankaTuesday, we were to create a new syllabic form without using any of the Japanese syllabic forms. I created the sevenfold.
The word sevenfold is seven times as much in size, strength, number, or amount. It’s seven times as much; multiplied by seven; sevenfold.
The sevenfold is a seven-line stanza, with seven syllables in each line, for a total of 49 syllables per stanza (7 x 7 = 49). You can create as many stanzas as you desire.

"Seven Chakras Sing" magical numbers repeat universal patterns show secret messages within... the angel number seven confirmation of wisdom given with love from above while your seven chakras sing move forward to accomplish this life's beloved mission remove all self-doubts and fears face hardships with bravery embrace the spiritual strengthen your bond with kindness fulfill your forever dreams © Colleen M. Chesebro

Love, love, love! Your poem is wonderful, Colleen! I look forward to using that meditation later today. 🙂

I have to get back into yoga and meditation more regularly. I took several classes of both in college and miss it 🙂

Thanks, Diane. I’m taking classes in Reiki so my poetry seems to come from that place. ❤

Oh, how fun. My husband and I took reiki classes together when we first met. I still use it 30 years later. Enjoy the suffusion of energy and lingering glow.

This is great, Colleen. For the time being, I am staying with your 99 syllable poetry form creation and writing a new poetry book comprising of 99 AFrican poems of 99 syllables each. Such fun.

I love the greater scope offered by the extra syllables, Colleen. It’s a great form and I hope to write a poem in that format for your current challenge.

You’re welcome. I like the number 7. 😂 It just goes to show that syllabic poetry need not be difficult. ❤️

Loved this Sis. Although, I used to always love the number 7, plus it’s my birthday number, but as the years went by, I sadly, equate the number with death. 😦 ❤
