Rugs are hard I think. You need to find a balance between color and pattern. I’m glad you succeeded!

Exactly! It was the patterns that drove me nuts. I’m not fond of 1960’s shag which I’ve seen in stores everywhere right now. I settled on some calm soothing tones and patterns.

Cake is good. Today I bought a small rug for an entryway… and Stella Doro cookies (sort of cake like!) Cheers to choices. Sometimes though with too many choices I choose to go home with nothing!
