I was thrilled and over the moon to discover this amazing podcast book review by Rebecca Budd and her sister, Sarah of Word Craft: Prose & Poetry. Many thanks to both ladies (and your mother) for finding poetic inspiration from my book. 💜

    1. Thank you, Liz, for introducing me to Colleen. You were the one who started me on this poetic journey. I will always remember the first time I read Wilderness Tanka. I still have goosebumps when I recite it.

      Wilderness Tanka

      snowy wilderness
      cold winter sun, soaring trees
      a small lone figure
for a time she stood fearless
      my protector, my mother

  1. Sarah and I had a lot of fun with this review, Colleen. And Don chose the music to accompany the poetry recitation. Thank you for the support and encouragement that you provide to so many who want to begin a poetic journey. Word Craft Poetry is an invaluable resource. I can only imagine the many hours of meticulous work that went into this book. Many many thanks!!!
